Thank you to Glenn’s Garage

“During our recent Breaker replacement project at our East Avenue substation, we encountered a couple of difficult nuts and bolts on two separate occasions that had to be cut with torches. We walked over to Glenn’s garage next to the substation and they had one of their guys drag the torch set through the crushed stone and removed the stubborn hardware. Thank you to Glenn’s Garage! Not only do we work with our customers to resolve issues, but they work with us as well. It was greatly appreciated and allowed the project to be completed on schedule.” — Mike Adams, General Line Foreman

TTD’s Featured Business Pick: Sunset Grille

Sunset Grille~ Sanctuary on the Sound

Sunset Grille, located in the Norwalk Cove Marina, was opened in the summer of 1994 by the Promuto family. One evening while brainstorming a name for their new restaurant, the sun started to set and the rest is history. It’s now one of the best spots to go in Norwalk for delicious seafood, refreshing cocktails, music and of course, beautiful sunsets where you feel the breeze from the water and hear the sounds of the marina while you dine. The restaurant which is now operated by Lou, Rose & Vinny Promuto, has faced some challenges over the years with a major fi re in 2006 and damages from Hurricane Irene and Super Storm Sandy several years later. Rose says, “We continue to do our best to open every year and provide a waterfront destination for our customers.” Sunset offers something for everyone. House specialties include Lobster Cobb Salad, Lobster Roll and of course a Lobster Dinner. The menu also features fried calamari, clams, oysters and other fresh seafood dishes. Sunset also has a variety of non-seafood options.

Sunset is open for lunch and dinner daily, and for breakfast on Sundays at 11:00 am with bottomless Mimosas. Rose says “The mission of Sunset Grille is to serve great food, make people happy and to relax. A lot of people think that they are on vacation when they come see us. Our family truly values our customers and our hardworking staff. We are all very fortunate to be able to share such a great location. Our family and staff look forward to serving the community for many more beautiful sunsets to come.”
