In July 2023, The Third Taxing District Electric Department will be lowering the Power Cost Adjustment (PCA) component of your electric bill.
The new PCA rate for all customers will be $0.035/kWh. Customers can expect to see a reduction of approximately 2.5% in their monthly electric bills.

Effective immediately, to report an electric emergency or power outage during non-business hours, please call TTD’s main phone number

Your phone call will be forwarded to TTD’s emergency on-call service.

Monday – Friday: 4:30pm to 8:00am
Saturday, Sunday and Holidays: all day

The Third Taxing District has been part of East Norwalk for over 100 years and are proud of our reputation for delivering reliable service, low rates and top-quality customer assistance to our residential and business customers. TTD also gives back to the community by supporting key local landmarks and funding popular concerts at Calf Pasture Beach.
In addition to supporting the East Norwalk Improvement Association Library, we maintain the district’s parks, historical cemetery, East Norwalk Firehouse, and host the annual tree lighting at Roger Ludlow Triangle. Each year, our food and toy drive at the lighting helps to support local Norwalk families and children.
