The Bloom Family History
Oystering is in their blood. The Bloom’s hail from a family of oystermen dating back to the 1940s. Norm’s father, Norm Sr., co-founded what was one of the largest oyster companies on the East Coast with his twin brother, Hillard Sr. Working alongside his father since he was a teenager, Norm learned the value of hard work and sustainable practices passed down through generations that continue to be implemented today. “Oystering is our passion and our heritage, and we take pride in what we do!”
