Richard Tavella is a second-generation small business owner. His grandparents ran a shoe store in Norwalk, and his father founded The Main Roofing Company in 1948.
Rick joined his father’s company in 1975, working as a laborer on residential and commercial properties learning the trade from the ground up.
In 2003, Rick established Rick’s Main Roofing, Ltd., providing the same quality workmanship and work ethic that Rick learned from his father. All of Rick’s service technicians and roof installers are trained and experienced. Over the years, Rick’s Main Roofing has grown into one of Fairfield County’s most respected roofing companies.
The company is GAF Master Elite certified on all shingle roof to offer a manufacturers warranty and Master Select certified on all Flat Roofs to offer a manufacturers warranty. Rick’s Main Roofing is also a member of the Cedar Shake & Shingle Bureau to offer a manufacturers warranty.
