At its June 8, 2026, meeting, the Commission unanimously approved an increase to the Power Cost Adjustment (PCA) component of customers’ electric rates, effective September 1st.
The PCA adjustment is necessary due to increases in wholesale energy prices in the ISO-NE energy market.
The PCA will change from $.0241/kWh to $.0361/kWh. Residential customers will see their monthly electric bills increase by 5.8% or $8.40, based on 700/kWh of electric usage. Commercial accounts will see an increase of 3%-6% depending on rate class and usage. Customers will see the increase in bills received in September.
TTD aims to maintain stable electric rates for its customers and adjusts the PCA periodically to accomplish this goal.
