Reduction In Power Cost Adjustment
On August 25th The Third Taxing District Commission approved a reduction in the Power Cost Adjustment from $0.0301/kWh to $0.0276/kWh effective September 1, 2025. Residential customers who use 700 kWh can expect to see a reduction in their electric bill of approximately 1.3% or $1.75 a month.

The Third Taxing District has been part of East Norwalk for over 100 years and are proud of our reputation for delivering reliable service, low rates and top-quality customer assistance to our residential and business customers. TTD also gives back to the community by supporting key local landmarks and funding popular concerts at Calf Pasture Beach.
In addition to supporting the East Norwalk Improvement Association Library, we maintain the district’s parks, historical cemetery, East Norwalk Firehouse, and host the annual tree lighting at Roger Ludlow Triangle. Each year, our food and toy drive at the lighting helps to support local Norwalk families and children.
